J CASEY POSTER By M. Silk screened from an engraving of M. I'm quite sure this is a blacklight poster (how I've seen them listed in the past - it's pretty famous.
(Its pretty cool in normal light too, lol. Approximately measures 18 3/4" x 30 3/4". I believe this to be in fair- or fair condition. See pictures as it held up pretty well for more than 50 years. To me that's where the value is - the art snd the history of the item. Obviously condition important but not everything. Not mint or excellent or possibly even good condition - but to those who are interested find their own value and condition that's acceptable. I try my best to show honest pictures and descriptions. This is the printed with a true mat black background which is pretty cool. There does appear to be a little bleed through (forms / shapes) visible on back of poster but don't see any effects on front. There are a few small creases on a couple edges if you look closely to the pictures. There is a small split on one edge and the is a odd "23" circular sticker on back. One corner has a bend. Any questions please ask - and see pictures (I have more) - these were not mine so I'm doing my best. These black light posters were my older brothers from the 60's and 70's. They all show wear and have tack holes, tape marks, bends, rips, roll marks and dome have bleed thru. Some stored (in dark) better than others - and some were enjoyed a lot at the time. They're still pretty cool as black light posters and are very unique and close to 50 years old. Part of the value is in their history and age. These are not mint or excellent condition posters.
They are pieces of history from a time gone by. Yes they have flaws - some big flaws - but they are what they are. Pretty awesome pieces of history. Please see pictures - and do ask ANY questions you may have prior to purchasing. This item is in the category "Art\Art Posters".
