For years, I've kept this poster rolled and in a tube, just as it would have been carried home from the trippy head shop that stocked it back in 1972. From time to time, I would pull out the tube containing the poster and show the poster to those friends I considered a suitable audience. All this is to say, the poster is in excellent condition. The paper on which it is printed has mellow a bit from white to pale cream. This slight darkening is the result of the aging of the organic material -- wood pulp -- from which the paper is made.

The florescent ink that makes up the bulk of the poster is as bright as new. The black flocking is in pristine condition. A poster of the utmost rarity, especially in such excellent condition. Does this image look familiar? Perhaps, if you were not distracted by the bloodbath that had just happened, you might have spotted it in the scene at almost the end of Taxi Driver when Travis Bickle, played Robert De Nero shoots his into the whore house to rescue the character played by Jodie Foster.
